Common use of Access Right to Background Clause in Contracts

Access Right to Background. The Participants and their Affiliated Entities have a royalty-free, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable right to access Background necessary to carry out their own tasks in the Project. The right to access the Background of others outside the Project, and that is necessary to enable the Participants and their Affiliated Entities to utilise their own Project Results and access rights in accordance with this Collaboration Agreement, shall be granted pursuant to the conditions set out in Appendix 3.
