Access to Aircraft Clause Samples
The 'Access to Aircraft' clause defines the rights and conditions under which certain parties, such as the owner, operator, or regulatory authorities, may physically access the aircraft. Typically, this clause outlines when and how access is permitted, such as for inspections, maintenance, or compliance checks, and may specify advance notice requirements or limitations to avoid disrupting operations. Its core function is to ensure that necessary oversight, maintenance, or regulatory obligations can be fulfilled while balancing operational needs and minimizing interference with the aircraft's use.
Access to Aircraft. The City of Faribault will not operate, move, or otherwise change the position of any aircraft. The Fixed Base Operator, or occupant will be contacted to operate, move, or otherwise change the position of any aircraft, if such action is necessary for inspection or maintenance in a hangar. During periods of maintenance and/or inspection of hangars, should the aircraft need to be tied down on the apron, any fees that are or may be in place will be waived.
Access to Aircraft. The location and configuration of controlled/uncontrolled vehicle access points (gates, etc.) to the airport will be documented. Common vehicular access routes within the airport’s landside areas (hangars, aprons, etc.) will be noted.
