Accessible Component Clause Samples

The Accessible Component clause defines the requirement that certain parts of a product, service, or system must be usable by individuals with disabilities. In practice, this clause typically mandates adherence to recognized accessibility standards, such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), and may specify which features or user interfaces must be accessible. Its core function is to ensure inclusivity and legal compliance by making sure that all users, regardless of ability, can effectively interact with the relevant components.
Accessible Component. The term “Accessible Component” shall mean any component of the Covered Product that could be touched by a person during reasonably foreseeable use.
