Accession of New Members. New Members of ASEAN shall accede to this Agreement on terms and conditions consistent with it and which have been agreed between them and the existing Members of ASEAN. Accession shall be through the signing and deposit of the Instrument of Accession of this Agreement with the Secretary – General of ASEAN, who shall promptly furnish each Contracting Party a certified true copy thereof.
