Acknowledgement and Assumption of Risk. I hereby certify that I understand, accept and fully assume any and all risks associated with my participation in the Half Marathon. I understand, or will educate myself about prior to the Half Marathon, the dangers of dehydration and hyponatremia (low blood sodium) and will take precautionary measures to prevent these conditions. I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for my personal health and safety, and the personal property I bring with me. I also acknowledge and accept full and sole responsibility for any medical expenses arising from my participation in the Half Marathon. I further acknowledge that my participation in the Half Marathon is strictly voluntary. I understand that I may discontinue my participation in the Half Marathon at any time, at my sole discretion.
