Common use of Acknowledgements of the Employee Clause in Contracts

Acknowledgements of the Employee. The Employee acknowledges and agrees that any entitlements granted and payments made in addition to the Base Salary, including, but not limited to any bonuses, participations, or gratuities of the Company or any Group Company (the Additional Payments) are not part of the salary legally or contractually owed by the Company and are made at full discretion of the Company or the Group Company granting such bonus, participation or gratuity. Any Additional Payments shall not create any obligation of the Company or any Group Company to make such Additional Payments in the future and shall not create any right or claim of the Employee to such Additional Payments in the future even if paid over consecutive years and without express reservation.
