Common use of Activities of the Investment Manager Clause in Contracts

Activities of the Investment Manager. The services of the Investment Manager under this Agreement are not to be deemed exclusive, and the Investment Manager shall be free to render similar services to others so long as its services hereunder are not impaired thereby. It is understood that directors, officers, employees and shareholders of the Fund are or may become interested in the Investment Manager, as directors, officers, employees or policyholders or otherwise and that directors, officers, employees or policyholders of the Investment Manager are or may become similarly interested in the Fund, and that the Investment Manager is or may become interested in the Fund as shareholder or otherwise.
