Common use of Activity Outside of the Alliance Clause in Contracts

Activity Outside of the Alliance. The Parties acknowledge that the research, Development and Commercialization objectives of this Alliance are intended to be complementary to GSK's other research, development and commercialization efforts outside this Alliance. Accordingly, the Parties agree that GSK shall be free to discover and develop other compounds for the treatment of diseases targeted by Alliance Products outside of this Agreement, subject to GSK's obligations hereunder with respect to any Alliance Product for which GSK has exercised its Opt-In Right.
