Additional Advancement. Any newly hired or regular Bargaining Unit Member who exhausts the five-day advancement may apply in writing to the Board for an additional advancement. The Board may, by resolution, grant an additional advancement if the following specifications and requirements are met: 1. The amount of the advancement will not exceed ten (10) days plus the five days advanced under Section 17.1 above (fifteen (15) days total).
