Additional Group Payment Responsibility Sample Clauses

The "Additional Group Payment Responsibility" clause establishes that certain parties within a group are collectively or individually responsible for making additional payments if required under the agreement. This clause typically applies when a primary obligor fails to meet payment obligations, triggering a requirement for other group members—such as affiliates, subsidiaries, or parent companies—to cover the shortfall. Its core practical function is to ensure that the payment obligations are fulfilled even if the main party defaults, thereby reducing the risk of non-payment for the beneficiary.
