Additional Requirements for Emergency Work. 1. Provide emergency replacement and restoration of aerial cable plant, underground cable plant, building entrance cable plant, terminations and/or splicing and testing and re- documentation of damaged plant. 2. Provide twenty-four hour a day, seven days a week coverage on call. 3. Provide two hour (2) response time to all call-outs. 4. Evaluate encountered situation and begin restoration immediately. 5. If temporary restoration measures are utilized to initially restore service, commence permanent restoration within three (3) working days (Saturday, Sunday and holidays excluded) from the time of initial restoration of service. Permanent repairs that require downtime to network electronic components will be scheduled based on the needs of the affected department(s). (Three day response time is subject to availability of materials required for the permanent repair and cooperation from the affected departments.) 6. The Contractor shall have the following minimum levels of equipment available at their local office and available for immediate deployment for work under the emergency response section of this proposal. Contractor shall identify the location and availability of: i. Two (2) bucket trucks ii. One (1) fusion splicing trailer unit iii. One (1) trencher iv. One (1) cable lashing machine
