Adherence to Laws. The respondent shall comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations, including, but not limited to HIPPA, the Florida Worker’s Compensation Act and all Federal and State tax laws. Because the bidder will be acting as an independent contractor, the City assumes no responsibility for the respondent’s actions. The respondent also agrees to comply with all State and Federal laws with regard to the Equal Employment Opportunity Act.
