Common use of Adjudication of Bankruptcy Clause in Contracts

Adjudication of Bankruptcy. If a petition or answer shall be filed proposing the adjudication or the Company or any Company Subsidiary as a bankrupt or its reorganization or arrangement, or any composition, readjustment, liquidation, dissolution or similar relief with respect to it pursuant to the Federal Bankruptcy Code of 1978 as amended or under any similar present or future federal law or the law of any other jurisdiction applicable to the Company or such Company Subsidiary, and the Company or such Company Subsidiary shall consent to or consent to or acquiesce in the filing thereof, or such petition or answer shall not be discharged or denied within 60 days after the filing thereof; or
