Common use of Adjustment to Underlying Number Clause in Contracts

Adjustment to Underlying Number. If MusicCo takes any action requiring an adjustment to the number of Rights pursuant to Section 6.02 at a time when each Right has one or more Distributed Entity Components, then the Underlying Number for each Distributed Entity Component of each Right after giving effect to such adjustment to the number of Rights shall equal the number obtained by multiplying the Underlying Number for such Distributed Entity Component immediately before giving effect to such adjustment by a fraction the numerator of which is one and the denominator of which is the number (or fraction) to which one whole Right is adjusted as a result of the taking of such action by MusicCo.
