Common use of Adjustments to Value of Property Clause in Contracts

Adjustments to Value of Property. In the event the Gross Asset Value of any Company asset is adjusted pursuant to subsection (b) of the definition of Gross Asset Value, subsequent allocations of income, gain, loss and deduction with respect to that asset shall take into account any variation between the Gross Asset Value of that asset before such adjustment and its Gross Asset Value after such adjustment in the same manner as the variation between Adjusted Basis and Gross Asset Value is taken into account under Section 4.4(a) hereof with respect to contributed property, and such variation shall be allocated in accordance with the principles of Treasury Regulation Section 1.704-1(b)(2)(iv)(f) and Section 4.4(b) hereof.
