Advance Planning. The Foundation, in collaboration with NMSU, is responsible for establishing a financial plan to underwrite the cost of each Foundation program, operation and service.
Advance Planning. Requests for air travel reservations are required at least seven (7) days prior to the planned departure date. However, based on the nature of ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Networks’ business, if these requirements cannot be met, an out of policy notification will be sent to the approving manager, who will either provide justification and approve the travel request or disapprove the request. The approving manager will make the exception to the out of policy notification and approve the travel request.
Advance Planning. Prior to filling a position with a relief or rotational assignment, Management will meet with the local Society representative to discuss the nature of the requirement (e.g., relief, rotation, vacancy) its expected duration, the selection process and whether there is an expectation that the work assignment will result in an ongoing position. For this purpose, the parties will refer to published organization charts on the corporate intranet site.
Advance Planning. Advance planning includes consideration of the potential impact of Freezing Rain and development of contingency arrangements to mitigate the effects. These contingency arrangements are documented below. A Joint Agreement is required at national level by Transport Scotland, Traffic Scotland, Trunk Road Operators and Police Scotland to formulate a nationwide Freezing Rain Procedure and Protocol for dealing with such rare occurrences and incidents that may occur during or following such severe weather events. If Freezing Rain occurs during a forecasted period of severe weather that necessitates a Yellow or Amber Met Office Severe Weather Warning, then it is likely both Police Scotland and BEAR’s Winter Resilience Operations will be in place. This would involve a MART convened at Traffic Scotland. Any Police Scotland response to Freezing Rain would be part of a multi-agency operation and would be subject to other ongoing operational commitments. Advance signing of the forecast of Freezing Rain may be signed on the Traffic Scotland national network of VMS, with an appropriate legend such as;
Advance Planning. Subject to any confidentiality concerns, AMEC NSS shall establish a "work plan", if it is reasonably practicable to do so, of projected and/or planned work anticipated for the coming three to twelve months, and shall provide copies of the work plan to society represented employees, with a copy to the society. The work plan shall set out, if practicable to do so, project names, anticipated start dates and durations, hours designated to complete the projects, numbers of staff anticipated for the project, and names of staff designated for the projects. The work plan shall be updated every three months. If not practicable to do so, the Society shall be informed in writing, also every three months.
Advance Planning. In the spirit of partnership, the Parties will consult concerning any possible furloughs or RIFs. The BDO will take reasonable steps to prevent a furlough or RIF by using other techniques to minimize impacts to Employees, as well as to the BDO.
Advance Planning a. Reductions and realignments should be given top management attention to decrease adverse effects on employees and on the future effectiveness of the activity involved. Early Employer and Union involvement is essential. Careful planning is necessary to lessen the impact. Prepare employees, and to forestall administrative and morale problems caused by ▇▇▇▇▇ actions. Good employer – Union and employee relationships require that management show concern for the employees’ problems, morale, and economic security. The Union and employees should be kept informed of plans that will affect them.
b. At their discretion, the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ commander may choose to request Voluntary Early Retirement Authority (▇▇▇▇) or Discontinued Service Retirement (DSR) authority. In planning to reduce or realign the workforce, it is important to consider each of the various actions that can be taken. For example, in order to meet a need to reduce the scope of an operation a reduction in hours of work for all employees may be more acceptable than separation of some employees. The tools available to management are sufficiently diverse to allow the effects of reductions to be broadly spread and thereby minimizing the impact on the workforce.
c. All actions which result in the reduction or separation of 50 or more employees require written notification be furnished through command channels to HQDA (SFCP-NF) not less than 30 calendar days prior to implementation. Guidance on the preparation of submissions is in AR 5-10, Stationing.
