Advancement by Steps Sample Clauses
The "Advancement by Steps" clause defines a process where progress or completion of a project, task, or payment is divided into distinct, sequential stages. Typically, this means that each phase must be completed and approved before moving on to the next, and payments or deliverables are tied to the successful completion of each step. For example, in a construction contract, work might be broken down into design, foundation, and building phases, with each requiring sign-off before proceeding. This clause ensures structured progress, reduces risk by allowing for regular review, and provides clear milestones for both parties to track and manage obligations.
