Common use of Advances for Taxes and Insurance Premiums Clause in Contracts

Advances for Taxes and Insurance Premiums. To the extent a Servicer is required to advance funds sufficient to pay the taxes or insurance premiums with respect to a Mortgage Loan pursuant to Section 980 of the Sales/Servicing Agreement and the Servicer fails to make such advance, the Master Servicer shall advance such funds and take such steps as are necessary to pay such taxes or insurance premiums.
