Common use of Adverse Change of Circumstances Clause in Contracts

Adverse Change of Circumstances. In the event of any major, involuntary, and adverse change of medical or financial circumstances rendering the amount of alimony provided for in this Agreement inequitable, the Parties shall review the alimony provisions of this Agreement to determine whether those provisions should be modified. The Parties shall make a good faith effort to reach mutual agreement on any such revisions. If they are unable to agree, they shall resolve the matter in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions of this Agreement. Notwithstanding the status of any other provision in this Agreement, this paragraph shall survive and remain as an independent contract between the Parties.
