Common use of Advertising and Use of Owner’s Name Clause in Contracts

Advertising and Use of Owner’s Name. Contractor shall not issue any news releases or any other advertising pertaining to the Work or the Project, including advertising its participation in the Project, without obtaining Owner’s prior written approval. Contractor hereby agrees not to use the name of Owner’s premises, or any variation thereof, or any logos used by Owner, in connection with any of Contractor’s business promotion activities or operations without Owner’s prior written approval. Contractor shall require its Subcontractors and Vendors to comply with the requirements imposed upon Contractor by this Article 23, including obtaining Owner’s prior written consent to the form and content of any promotional or advertising publications or materials which depict or refer to their respective roles in providing Work for the Project.
