Advice on continuation of studies after the first-year phase At the end of each student’s first year of enrolment in the first-year phase of the degree programme, the Examination Board, on behalf of the ▇▇▇▇, ▇▇▇▇ provide the student with study advice regarding their continuation within the degree programme. This study advice will be emailed to the student no later than 24 August. For students who were admitted in February, the ultimate date is 24 February instead. The study advice has a binding negative character for students who, taking into account their personal circumstances (see 5.3), have earned fewer than 50 credits for modules in their first year. Results obtained through exemptions count towards the 50-credit minimum. Students who have terminated their enrolment in the degree programme during the course of the first year of their studies will receive a study advice for their first year at the end of that year. This may be a negative binding study advice unless, based on the student’s personal circumstances, the Examination Board believes that a negative binding study advice should not be issued.
