D12.1 You must advise each Non-Subsidised Resident in writing that: a. if the Non-Subsidised Resident wishes to become a Subsidised Resident, the Resident must have a Means Assessment to determine whether the DHB is liable to pay for Services provided to the Resident; b. a Means Assessment may take some time to arrange, and the conclusion of such assessment may be that the DHB is not liable to pay for such Services; and
