Advisory to the General Manager. The decision of the Hearing Office shall be forwarded to and is considered advisory by the District’s General Manager. The General Manager shall review the recommendation of the Hearing Officer and may then accept, reject, or modify the proposed decision (which includes the authority to impose a lesser or different form of discipline). The General Manager’s decision shall be in writing and shall be issued within thirty (30) days of receiving the Hearing Officer’s decision. The General Manager’s decision shall be final.
