Common use of Affidavit Required Clause in Contracts

Affidavit Required. CM shall provide at Substantial Completion, a notarized affidavit to the Owner and the A/E stating that no asbestos containing materials or work was provided, furnished, installed, or added to the Project. Prior to submitting this affidavit, every subcontractor and supplier shall have provided a notarized statement to CM that no ACBM has been provided, used, or left on this Project. CM shall take whatever measures that may be necessary to insure that all employees, suppliers, fabricators, material men, subcontractors, or their assigns comply with this requirement.
