Common use of Affidavits Clause in Contracts

Affidavits. Upon the execution of this Agreement and if requested by County, Contractor shall submit a sworn affidavit from each officer, employee, or agent of Contractor who has been in contact or communicated with any officer, agent or employee of County during the past calendar year concerning the provision of these goods and services. The affidavit shall contain the following statement: I do solemnly swear that neither I, nor to the best of my knowledge, any member of my firm or company, have either directly or indirectly restrained free and competitive bidding by entering into any agreement, participated in any collusion, or otherwise taken any action unauthorized by the governing body of County, or in violation of applicable law.
