Affiliate Combinations Clause Samples
The Affiliate Combinations clause defines how the agreement applies when one of the parties undergoes a merger, acquisition, or other combination with an affiliate. Typically, this clause clarifies whether the rights and obligations under the contract extend to entities that become affiliated with a party after the agreement is signed, such as through corporate restructuring or consolidation. Its core function is to ensure that the contract remains enforceable and relevant even as the corporate structure of the parties changes, thereby preventing loopholes or unintended exclusions due to organizational changes.
