Common use of Agent of the Chargor Clause in Contracts

Agent of the Chargor. Subject to clause 6.2 and the next sentence, every Receiver appointed under clause 5 will be taken to be the agent of the Chargor, and the Chargor will be responsible for the Receiver’s acts, defaults and remuneration. The Chargee may, by notice to the Receiver and the Chargor, require the Receiver to act as its agent.
