AGREEMENT AND EXERCISE OF CONTRACT RESPONSIBILITIES. 1. The Contract shall not be construed to create a contractual relationship of any kind (1) between the County or its representatives and a Subcontractor of any tier (including, but not limited to, designers, architects and engineers) or (2) between any persons or entities other than the County and Contractor. Contractor is fully responsible for all acts, omissions or negligence of its Subcontractors of any tier, suppliers and other persons and organizations performing or furnishing any of the Work under a direct or indirect contract with Contractor just as Contractor is responsible for Contractor's own acts, omissions or negligence. 2. The County and its agents do not, in exercising their responsibilities and authorities under the Contract, assume any duties or responsibilities to any Subcontractor or supplier, nor does the County or its agents assume any duty of care to Contractor, its Subcontractors, or suppliers.
