Common use of Agreement by Resident and Home Clause in Contracts

Agreement by Resident and Home. This Agreement must be signed by the Resident or by someone who has the authority to sign on behalf of the resident for example under a Lasting Power of Attorney for property and financial affairs, or as a Deputy appointed by the Court of Protection (CoP). A copy of the relevant LPA or Deputyship Order will be retained by the Home.
