Common use of Agreement Mute Clause in Contracts

Agreement Mute. In any matter or situation, accept those pertaining to wages, hours or other conditions of employment, in which this Agreement shall be mute, then such policies and procedures as may be established from time to time by the Sheriff and/or the Van Buren County Board of Commissioners shall apply and govern to the full extent as if they were a part of this Agreement provided that no such policy or procedure which is in direct conflict with this Agreement shall be valid.
