Common use of Agreement on Behalf of the Union Clause in Contracts

Agreement on Behalf of the Union. The Union hereby and herewith covenants, agrees, and represents to the City that the Union is duly authorized and empowered to covenant for and on behalf of all members in its bargaining unit and represents that it and its members will faithfully and diligently abide by and be strictly bound to all of the provisions of this Agreement as herein set forth. The parties agree that in conferences and negotiations, the Union will represent all employees in the bargaining unit.
