Common use of Agreement to Purchase Energy Clause in Contracts

Agreement to Purchase Energy. This Sales Agreement together with the Third Party Verification (“TPV”), as applicable, and your written Starion Welcome Letter, constitute the agreement (“Agreement”) between Starion Energy NY Inc. (“Starion”) and the customer (“you” or “Customer”) by which Xxxxxxx agrees to sell and deliver electricity supply service to Customer for the price and term indicated in the TPV and/or Welcome Letter, and Customer agrees to the purchase of and accepts electricity supply service from Starion pursuant to the terms of this Agreement. Customer understands that Starion is a retail supplier of electricity and is not affiliated with Customer’s Local Distribution Utility (“LDU”) or the New York Public Service Commission (“NYPSC”). Starion is licensed by NYPSC to supply electricity service in New York, but the prices that Starion charges its customers are not regulated by the NYPSC. The LDU will continue to deliver electricity to your home or business (“Distribution Service”), read your meter, and bill you. The amount of electricity delivered under this Agreement is subject to change based upon data reflecting Customer’s consumption obtained by Starion or the LDU’s delivery schedule. This Agreement is contingent upon Customer providing complete and accurate information to Starion.

The amount of electricity delivered under this Agreement is subject to change based upon data reflecting Customer’s consumption obtained by Starion or the LDU’s delivery schedule. This Agreement is contingent upon Customer providing complete and accurate information to Starion.
