SHIPPING AND AIR TRANSPORT 1. Profits of an enterprise of a Contracting State from the operation of ships or aircraft in international traffic shall be taxable only in that State. 2. The provisions of paragraph 1 shall also apply to profits from the participation in a pool, a joint business or an international operating agency.
Information Systems The Customer is aware that vehicles manufactured, supplied or marketed by a company within the Volvo Group are equipped with one or more systems which may gather and store information about the vehicle (the “Information Systems”), including but not limited to information relating to vehicle condition and performance and information relating to the operation of the vehicle (together, the “Vehicle Data”). The Customer agrees not to interfere with the operation of the Information System in any way.
Fire Safety Resident will not tamper with fire alarms, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, fire hoses, or exit signs. Resident will promptly evacuate Residence Facility upon the sounding of an alarm or as otherwise directed by College Housing staff. Resident will participate in any periodic fire drill and fire safety training conducted by College for the Residence Facility.
Heating and Air Conditioning Xxxxxx agrees to furnish to Lessee heating and air conditioning equipment and maintain same in satisfactory operating condition at all times for the Premises during the term of the Lease at the expense of Lessor. Xxxxxx agrees that thermostats in the Premises will be set to maintain an average zone temperature of 75 degrees Fahrenheit during the heating and cooling seasons.
Distribution System The Transmission Owner’s facilities and equipment used to transmit electricity to ultimate usage points such as homes and industries directly from nearby generators or from interchanges with higher voltage transmission networks which transport bulk power over longer distances. The voltage levels at which Distribution Systems operate differ among areas. Distribution Upgrades – The additions, modifications, and upgrades to the Transmission Owner’s Distribution System at or beyond the Point of Interconnection to facilitate interconnection of the Small Generating Facility and render the transmission service necessary to effect the Interconnection Customer’s wholesale sale of electricity in interstate commerce.
Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning General Office Area: The building shall be equipped with a combination heating, ventilation and air conditioning system. The system shall have ducted supply and return air. The space above the ceiling shall not be used as a supply or return plenum. The systems shall be sized in accordance with the
Portability (a) Employees are able to maintain their participation in the scheme should they transfer their employment between Catholic schools or to the Catholic Education Office. (b) The employee is obliged to notify the principal prior to appointment of their participation in the Deferred Salary Scheme and the date that leave is due to be taken. (c) Participation in the Deferred Salary Scheme shall not impede an application for employment in a Catholic school.
COUNTY’S QUALITY ASSURANCE PLAN The County or its agent will evaluate the Contractor’s performance under this Contract on not less than an annual basis. Such evaluation will include assessing the Contractor’s compliance with all Contract terms and conditions and performance standards. Contractor deficiencies which the County determines are severe or continuing and that may place performance of the Contract in jeopardy if not corrected will be reported to the Board of Supervisors. The report will include improvement/corrective action measures taken by the County and the Contractor. If improvement does not occur consistent with the corrective action measures, the County may terminate this Contract or impose other penalties as specified in this Contract.
Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Contractor understands that HHS does not tolerate any type of fraud, waste, or abuse. Violations of law, agency policies, or standards of ethical conduct will be investigated, and appropriate actions will be taken. Pursuant to Texas Government Code, Section 321.022, if the administrative head of a department or entity that is subject to audit by the state auditor has reasonable cause to believe that money received from the state by the department or entity or by a client or contractor of the department or entity may have been lost, misappropriated, or misused, or that other fraudulent or unlawful conduct has occurred in relation to the operation of the department or entity, the administrative head shall report the reason and basis for the belief to the Texas State Auditor’s Office (SAO). All employees or contractors who have reasonable cause to believe that fraud, waste, or abuse has occurred (including misconduct by any HHS employee, Grantee officer, agent, employee, or subcontractor that would constitute fraud, waste, or abuse) are required to immediately report the questioned activity to the Health and Human Services Commission's Office of Inspector General. Contractor agrees to comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and System Agency policies regarding fraud, waste, and abuse including, but not limited to, HHS Circular C-027. Access to Information Systems Access, if any, to DXC’s Information Systems is granted solely to perform the Services under this Order, and is limited to those specific DXC Information Systems, time periods and personnel as are separately agreed to by DXC and Supplier from time to time. DXC may require Supplier’s employees, subcontractors or agents to sign individual agreements prior to access to DXC’s Information Systems. Use of DXC Information Systems during other time periods or by individuals not authorized by DXC is expressly prohibited. Access is subject to DXC business control and information protection policies, standards and guidelines as may be modified from time to time. Use of any other DXC Information Systems is expressly prohibited. This prohibition applies even when an DXC Information System that Supplier is authorized to access, serves as a gateway to other Information Systems outside Supplier’s scope of authorization. Supplier agrees to access Information Systems only from specific locations approved for access by DXC. For access outside of DXC premises, DXC will designate the specific network connections to be used to access Information Systems.
