Common use of All-Inclusive Population-Based Payments Clause in Contracts

All-Inclusive Population-Based Payments. (AIPBP)‌ (a) If the ACO wishes to participate in AIPBP, it must select AIPBP as an Alternative Payment Mechanism in accordance with Section I.A of Appendix N. CMS shall review and respond to the ACO’s selection in accordance with Sections I.A and I.B of Appendix N. (b) If CMS approves the ACO’s selection to participate in AIPBP, CMS shall make Monthly AIPBP Payments to the ACO in accordance with the methodology in Appendix N. Each party shall comply with the terms of Appendix N that are applicable to that party. (c) As part of settlement for a Performance Year under Section XIV.C, CMS shall calculate the difference between the total Monthly AIPBP Payments that CMS paid to the ACO during the Performance Year and the total amount of AIPBP Fee Reductions. Such calculations shall be made in accordance with Appendix N. Any difference would constitute Other Monies Owed and may be subject to recoupment or offset in accordance with Appendix N and Section XIV.C of this Agreement.
