Common use of Allocation of Site Preparation Costs Clause in Contracts

Allocation of Site Preparation Costs. Pathnet shall be responsible for payment of the site preparation charge with respect to: (i) each original application; and (ii) each additional application or augment application which involves expansion of existing square footage or additional bays. The site preparation charge is a nonrecurring charge designed to recover GTE's costs associated with preparing wire center(s) or access tandem(s) to accommodate collocation. For caged collocation arrangements (including shared and sublease arrangements), the site preparation charge shall be applied on a per square foot basis. . For cageless collocation arrangements, the site preparation charge shall be applied on a per bay basis. Site preparation rates are specified in Appendix G.
