ALTERATIONS REQUESTED BY THE GOVERNMENT. A. The Government may request the Lessor to provide alterations during the term of the Lease. Alterations will be ordered by issuance of a Supplemental Agreement. The General Services Administration Acquisition Manual (“GSAM”) clause, 552.270-31, Prompt Payment, including its invoice requirements, shall apply to orders for alterations. All orders are subject to the terms and conditions of this Lease and may be placed by the RECO or an authorized USACE representative. B. The Government shall have the right during the existence of this Lease to make alterations, attach fixtures, and erect additions, structures or signs in or upon the Premises hereby leased. Upon Government request, the Lessor shall be required to promptly obtain bids for the said work and to provide the bids to the Government. All work shall be performed through the Lessor and will be implemented by Supplemental Agreement. The Government’s portion of the expense will be paid on a reimbursable basis. Such fixtures, additions, or structures shall be and remain the property of the Government and may be removed prior to the expiration or termination of this Lease or abandoned in place.
