Amendment, Modification & Assignment Sample Clauses

The "Amendment, Modification & Assignment" clause defines the rules and procedures for changing the terms of an agreement or transferring rights and obligations to another party. Typically, this clause requires that any changes to the contract be made in writing and agreed upon by all parties involved, and it may restrict or set conditions for assigning the contract to third parties. Its core function is to ensure that all parties have clarity and mutual consent regarding any alterations to the agreement, thereby preventing unauthorized changes and disputes over contract terms.
