Common use of Amendment of the Safe Harbor Permit Clause in Contracts

Amendment of the Safe Harbor Permit. The Permit may be amended to accommodate changed circumstances in accordance with all applicable legal requirements, including but not limited to the ESA, the National Environmental Policy Act, and the Service’s permit regulations at 50 CFR 13 and 50 CFR 17. The Party proposing the amendment shall provide a statement describing the proposed amendment, the reasons for it, and an explanation of what, if any, effects the amendment(s) may have on LCT. A Federal Register notice with a 30-day comment period will be needed for any proposed amendments to the Permit.
