Common use of Amendment; Severability Clause in Contracts

Amendment; Severability. No amendment or modification of this Agreement is effective unless it is in writing and signed by each party. If any provision of this Agreement is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable, it shall be modified to accomplish the original intent of the parties to the fullest extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions of this Agreement shall remain in effect.

Amendment; Severability. If agree that should any government agency or court of competent jurisdiction declare or determine that any provision of this Agreement is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceableillegal or invalid, it shall be modified to accomplish the original intent validity of the parties to the fullest extent permitted by lawremaining parts, and the remaining terms or provisions of this Agreement shall not be affected and such provisions shall remain in effectfull force and effect and any illegal or invalid part, term, or provision, will not be deemed to be a part of this Agreement.
