Common use of Amendments to Your Agreement Clause in Contracts

Amendments to Your Agreement. At any time, we may add, delete or change any term of this Agreement, unless the law prohibits us from doing so. We will give you notice of any changes as required by law. We may notify you of changes on your Statement or in a separate notice. Our notice will tell you when and how the changes will take effect. Your variable APRs (if applicable) can go up or down as the index for the rate goes up or down. If we increase your APRs for any other reason, or if we change your Fees or other terms of your Account, we will notify you as required by law. The Law That Applies to Your Agreement This Agreement is entered into between you and us in the State of Tennessee, and your Account and this Agreement, and any claim, dispute or controversy arising from or relating to your Account or this Agreement, whether based in contract, tort, fraud or otherwise and regardless of the place where you live, is governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to Tennessee’s conflict of laws principles, and applicable federal laws and regulations. The legality, enforceability and interpretation of this Agreement and the amounts contracted for under this Agreement also are governed by Tennessee law and applicable provisions of federal law, and all amounts granted under this Agreement are extended from the State of Tennessee.
