An applicant for Clause Samples

The clause titled "An applicant for" defines the requirements or conditions that must be met by an individual or entity seeking to apply for a particular status, benefit, or approval under an agreement or regulation. Typically, this clause outlines eligibility criteria, necessary documentation, and procedural steps that an applicant must follow to be considered for the opportunity in question. For example, it may specify age, residency, or qualification standards, and detail the submission process. An applicant for type approval of a model record sheet shall state on his application the type or types of control device on which the sheet in question is designed to be used and shall provide a suitable device of such type or types for the purpose of testing the sheet.
An applicant for a vacancy or a newly-created position who is denied such position shall be notified. The senior employee bidding on a position in a new classification within the bargaining unit, if she/he has not been granted the promotion, shall upon request, be given the reason in writing. The decision as to qualifications shall be based on the District’s opinion which is subject to the grievance procedure.
An applicant for a new license and each licensee who would become newly subject to the requirements of this Subchapter upon application for modification of its license shall implement the requirements of this Subchapter, as appropriate, before taking possession of an aggregated category 1 or category 2 quantity of radioactive material.
An applicant for recognition as a recognized clearing organization may request that the Commission approve any or all of its rules and subsequent amendments thereto, at the time of recognition or thereafter, under section 5a(a)(12) of the Act and § 1.41 of this chapter. The recognized clearing organization may label such rules as having been approved by the Commission.
