AND DEFINITION. The Employer recognizes the Ontario Nurses' as the exclusive bargaining agent for all registered and graduate nurses employed in a nursing capacity by Versa-Care Limited in Newmarket, save and except, Director of Care, and persons above the rank of Director of Care. The word "nurse" or "nurses" when used in this agreement, shall mean nurses registered pursuant to the Health Disciplines Act, which nurses are within the bargaining unit. to work more than forty-five (45) hours per pay period. A part-time nurse is a nurse who is regularly scheduled to work forty-five (45) hours or less per pay period. Such nurse may work additional hours, if desired. A relief nurse is called into work on an on-call basis, but does not work a regular schedule, or does so only for a specified period. Such nurse has the option of refusing work when it is made available to her.
AND DEFINITION l The Hospital the Ontario Nurses' Association as the exclusive bargaining agent of all lay, registered and graduate nurses regularly employed for not more than twenty-four hours per week in a nursing capacity by General Hospital at save and except head nurses and persons above the rank of head nurse.
AND DEFINITION. The Hospital recognizes the Association as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for all registered and graduate nurses engaged nursing care in the Hospital save and except infection control nurse, health nurses, Head Nurses, persons above the rank of Head Nurse and part-time nurses.
AND DEFINITION. A. The Board recognizes the Association as the sole and exclusive bargaining representative for all teachers who are certificated and regularly employed by the Board, it specifically being the intent of the parties hereto that membership in the Association shall not be a condition of employment nor used as a point of discrimination in the rights, benefits or obligations under this contract.
B. The term certificated as used herein shall mean a teacher who is presently holding a valid certificate issued by the State Board of Education under the requirements of Act 202 of Public Acts of 1903 and meets the requirements of NCLB.
C. The term regularly employed classroom teacher as used herein shall include all those teachers employed full‑time throughout the school year and in addition thereto, special education teachers, guidance counselor, librarian, social worker, teachers regularly employed on a part‑time basis, probationary teachers, athletic director, game manager, telecommunications instructors, and work experience instructors. Specifically excluding from the bargaining unit all others, and particularly the supervisory staff consisting of the Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Principals and Assistant Principals, non‑supervisory staff consisting of the substitute teachers, non‑regularly employed part‑time teachers and teacher aides, even if they hold a valid teaching certificate, and all non‑certified personnel.
D. The term teacher shall refer to all employees represented by the Association as herein defined and masculine gender shall include feminine.

B. For the purpose of this Agreement, the word “teacher” shall mean all full time and regularly employed part-time certified teachers, reading consultants, mathematic consultants, vocal music directors, instrumental music directors, computer coordinators, social studies consultants, science consultants, guidance counselors for preschool and grades K - 12, social worker, alternative education teacher(s) and media specialist for the regular school term except:
