Common use of AND LOCKOUTS Clause in Contracts

The union agrees that during the term of this agreement, and regard- less of whether an unfair labour practice is alleged (a) there will be no strike, slow-down or walk-out and the union will not directly or indirectly authorize,encourageor approve any refusal on the part of employees to pro- ceed to the location of normal work assignment where no rare or unusual physical hazard is involved in proceeding to such location. Any employee who violates this clause shall be subject to discipline. The company agrees that during the term of this agreement there will be no lock-out of employ- ees covered by this agreement.
