Common use of Anti-corruption law Clause in Contracts

Anti-corruption law. (a) The Borrower shall not (and shall procure that no other Security Party will) directly or indirectly use the proceeds of the Loan for any purpose which would breach the Bribery Act 2010, the United States Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977 or other similar legislation in other jurisdictions. (b) The Borrower shall (and shall procure that each other Security Party shall): (i) conduct its businesses in compliance with applicable anti-corruption laws; and (ii) maintain policies and procedures designed to promote and achieve compliance with such laws.
