Common use of ANTI-SWEATSHOP PROVISIONS Clause in Contracts

ANTI-SWEATSHOP PROVISIONS. The Contractor certifies that none of their goods or products were made under sweatshop conditions as defined in § 161.02(e) of the City Code. If the City is presented with information that would lead the City to reasonably believe that the Contractor or its suppliers may be obtaining goods or products for sale, re-sale, lease or rental to the City that where made under sweatshop condition, upon request of the City, Contractor shall disclose information, data and materials reflecting Contractors practices as they pertain to the procurement and manufacturing of goods/products in compliance with the Anti-sweatshop provisions of Pittsburgh Code Section 160.02.
