APPEARANCES OF CONFLICTS OF INTEREST. Contractor acknowledges that in governmental contracting even the appearance of a conflict of interest can be harmful to the interest of the State. Thus, Contractor agrees to refrain from any practices, activities, or relationships that appear to conflict with Contractor’s obligations under this Contract, unless Contractor receives prior written approval of the Commission. In the event Contractor is uncertain whether the appearance of a conflict of interest may exist, Contractor shall submit to the CAM a written description of the relevant details.
