Common use of Applicability of ISP98 Clause in Contracts

Applicability of ISP98. Unless otherwise agreed by the Lender and the Borrower, when a Letter of Credit is issued and subject to applicable laws, the rules of the “International Standby Practices 1998” (ISP98) or the “Uniform Customs and Practices for Documentary Credits (1993) (ICC Publication 500)” or such later revision as may be published by the International Chamber of Commerce shall apply to each Letter of Credit.
