Common use of Applicable Law and Conforming Amendments Clause in Contracts

Applicable Law and Conforming Amendments. THECB may terminate this Contract immediately upon notice to Contractor in the event federal or state law is enacted, amended, or judicially interpreted so as to render continued fulfillment of this Contract, on the part of THECB, wholly unreasonable or impossible. THECB reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to unilaterally amend this Contract throughout the Contract Term to incorporate any modifications necessary for THECB’s compliance, as a Texas state agency, with all applicable state and federal laws, rules, regulations, requirements, and guidelines.
