Common use of Applicable Legislation Clause in Contracts

Applicable Legislation. The Plan shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the province in which the Subscriber resides, as shown in the Application, and with the RESP Legislation. The Plan shall not in any way constitute a trust within the meaning of the Civil Code of Québec. Given the special nature hereof and the administrative rules created hereby, the rules of Title VII of Book IV of the Civil Code of Québec relating to the administration of the property of others shall not apply to Assets of the Plan.
