Application of State and Local Regulatory Laws Governing Commercial Cannabis Activities. The operation of Commercial Cannabis Activities is a highly regulated business activity, and it is subject to various state and local laws and regulations. This Agreement does not, and the County cannot and does not intend to, give Permittee the right to continue its operations without complying with applicable state and local laws governing its operations. Permittee shall be responsible for obtaining all applicable state permits, approvals and consents, even if the applicable state laws and regulations are altered following the Effective Date.
